Taming an Argentavis Ark

The Argentavis is a must have tame in ark and is a core flyer. It is very useful and you can get it very early on . The reason you can tame the Argentavis early on is because it doesn't take a lot of resources to tame and is a very simple concept to tame it. There are many different ways to tame an Argentavis but I will tell you the three main ways that you can.

The first way to tame an Argentavis is with a trap. You only need three stone dinosaur gateways and 2 gates. To build the trap you put the three gateways together and then put the 2 gates at either end. The taming method depends on how many people you have. If there are 2 of you then one person has to lure the Argentavis to the trap. The other person stays at the trap and leaves the gate open that the Argentavis is on. The first person then lures it into the trap and the other person closes the gate. If you are solo then you do the same thing except you lure in the Argentavis and close the gate.

The second way to tame an Argentavis is to find one and move backwards as you use your tranqs to knock it out. After it is knocked out then you put meat in it and it will tame. The only problem with this way is that it will fly away easy.

The third way is to put a ballista on the back of a Quetzal or a Paracer. Then you load them up with chain bolas and shoot at the Argentavis with it. Then you tame it.

These are just some ways that you can tame an Argentavis. But you can also make up more ways to tame the Argentavis.
